While at the Fredericksburg, TX hook-in, some of the ladies made a snippet box. I call them the "Wooly Women". Hope they all had a great time making their little treasures. We'll see them again next year.

- My name is Julie and I was born and raised in central Illinois. I was a legal secretary for many years and left the profession to open my first store, Trinkets & Treasures, now located at 120 N. Main, Washington, IL. I became very interested in rug hooking and from that interest, Among Friends was born. AF is now eight years old and has evolved from a rug hooking hobby to a full-blown rug hooking business. I design primitive rugs and projects which I hope you will enjoy hooking as much as I do. I began dyeing wool one year ago and love dyeing as much as designing. I have been doing projects for Create & Decorate magazine for the last 4+ years and hope to continue that relationship far into the future. I keep a booth in Trinkets full of kits, my hand-dyed wool, and patterns. Believe it or not, there is more to my life than wool. It's all the many Shih Tzu that keep me hoppping.
